  • If you wish to learn about Palestine and, at a broader level, about colonization/decolonization, domination/resistance, oppression/liberation through books and films;

  • If you are a book lover and film lover;

  • If you are a seeker of justice and kindness and courage;

  • If you refuse to accept the status quo;

  • If you refuse to believe in your own insignificance;

  • If you wish to raise your awareness and that of others;

  • If you are looking for a safe space to share insights and listen to others;

  • If you believe in the power of stories and the liberating potential of other narratives. 

If you are all or any of the above, OtherNarratives is for you.

All ages and genders are welcome. Hate speech and misdirected anger are not.

Where and When?

Once a month. Except in the summer months. Different places but all safe spaces where we can talk about books, watch films, share insights and emotions, and learn.

Language

English, but also Arabic and French. Other Narrative attendees are free to express themselves in English, Arabic or French.
